'Ello, London!

London! This was our shortest visit on our trip so we barely even scratched the surface of this awesome city. Due to some technical mistakes on our end (aka: missing our train and almost getting stuck in Belgium), we only had 2 evenings and 1 day to look around. The first thing on our list? Finding Platform 9 3/4! We actually had to wait in line, or queue as the Brits say, for a good half hour to get our photo op with the cart. It was mostly younger children with their parents, so the workers taking the official pictures gave us a little bit extra time since we were dedicated and seemed to enjoy talking to someone their age haha :)

Once we were able get our pictures at King's Cross, we did all the main tour things that we could fit in our one day in London, which obviously included touring the gigantic Topshop flagship store! That thing is like the 8th wonder of the world I swear, it is amazing.

After hitting up all the main sights that our feet allowed (by this point in our trip, our feet were ready to fall off!) we met up with my good friend who was living there in the summer and went and got true British fish and chips and enjoyed some drinks at the cute pub Punch & Judy.

I was sad when it was our time to leave and fly back to the states since there was so much more to London than we could see in one day, but that just means I'll have to go back sometime soon :) I've already begun planning my next tour, whenever that may be!

TGIF!

"I haven't been everywhere, but it's on my list"

It's hard narrowing down the places to travel when there are so many amazing places you haven't yet visited!

While I haven't traveled much in my 23 years of existence, I believe it is important for enriching your life and for opening your eyes to the ways of the world and I certainly don't plan on this trip being my last major adventure!
